Hepsia’s File Manager section will let you manage your website files using simple point ‘n’ click movements. Right-click contextual menus offer rapid access to different file management options, while user-friendly drag & drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your desktop PC in no time. You will also find built-in file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to archive and unzip files effortlessly as well.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag ‘n’ drop functionality will allow you to effortlessly transfer files between your desktop PC and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you would like to upload from your PC and then drag it into your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. Additionally, you can download files and even folders to your hard disk drive by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with just one single click of the mouse. All action buttons are handily positioned above the file/folder list and you can update your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, examine the contents of a file or modify its permissions, erase a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager, you will be able to zip and uncompress all types of files. It does work incredibly fast – simply select the files you would like to make a compressed archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive file type (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you really do not need any third-party software tools to update your files. There is an image viewer, which permits you to preview the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact show up on your web site. Also, you will find a set of in-built file editors, which will grant you total command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more proficient users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
